Well…put an asterisk on this years game in the record book and lets move on. I didn’t/wouldn’t watch the game last night and from this morning news summary, “ZZZZZZZZZ,” that was the right choice. ‘Bama did win the game and nothing I can say changes that. They are clearly good enough but many good enough teams have been ignored by the BCS, even this year. They got the #2 nod because of their name and nothing else. Disagree? Ask Boise State who was perfect in 2009 and 2006.
I think it’s long past time for a playoff and I’m not talking about a +1 system.

To hell with it. I’m boycotting the BCS championship. Alabama didn’t earn the right to play last weekend but will play for a national championship in January. Why?

• If you are for a playoff system, you should be for Alabama. Why? Playoffs are about proving your worth not being given a shot at the title because you have a history.
• To anyone with eyes, Alabama is clearly the number 2 team in the country. Really? It isn’t clear to me. Why isn’t any other 1 loss team even considered?
• OK State had a tougher schedule but I just can’t get over their loss. Alabama also has one loss and OK St has better wins.
• They are the top defense in the country. But, you just said they didn’t have the toughest schedule. They only have 1 win against a high scoring offense.

I don’t expect fairness from the BCS but this is pathetic. If they weren’t ‘bama, they wouldn’t be #2.
